In 6th ODI of Natwest series 2007- India defeated England by 2 wickets. Main attraction of the match was the batting of Sachin & Saurav in the second innings while chasing the target of 317 to win. The duo gave sparkling start and made 150 for the first wicket.

मै हौसिला प्रसाद पान्डेय पुत्र श्री राज बहादुर पाण्डेय, (निवासी मोहद्दीनगर, थाना हथिगवां, जिला प्रतापगढ़) राजा भइया के यहाँ निजी सहायक की नौकरी करता था। बाद मे १९९३ मे‌ विधायक बनने के बाद उन्होने मुझे अपना प्रतिनिधि बनाया। और मै उनके क्षेत्र कुण्डा के विकास कार्यों का अवलोकन व व्यवस्था करने लगा। सन १९९७ मे उन्होने मुझे प्रतिनिधि पद से हटा दिया और हरि ओम शन्कर श्रीवास्तव को प्रतिनिधि बनाया, जो कि आज तक हैं।

सन २००१ मे जब राजा भैया खेल-कूद मन्त्री बने तो उन्होने मुझे अपना जन सम्पर्क अधिकारी बनाया। सन २००२ मे मायावती की सरकार बनी, और राजा भैया ने अपने १०-११ साथियों के साथ सरकार से समर्थन वापस ले लिया तो उन्हे मायावती सरकर ने पोटा मे आरोपित कर दिया और अपने दमन चक्र को चलाकर उनके कार्य कर्ताओं , समर्थकों और नौकरों को विभिन्न फ़र्ज़ी अरोपों मे जेल भेज दिया, जिनमे, मैं भी एक भुक्त भोगी था।

मुझे उच्च न्यायालय इलाहाबाद के आदेश पर जमानत मिली।, ११ (ग्यारह) महीने विचाराधीन कैदी के रूप मे सजा पाने के बाद ये मुक्ति मिली, बाद मे मेरे ऊपर लगाये गये, गैन्गस्टर सहित अन्य आरोपों से मुझे माननीय न्यायालय ने मुक्ति दिलायी।

तब से मै बीमारी और वृद्धावस्था (६८ वर्ष आयु) होने के कारण राजा भइया के यहाँ सेवा मे नही हूं।

वैसे मै, यह भी बता देना चाहता हूँ कि मायवती सरकार ने राजा भैया पर जो भी आरोप लगाये हैं, सब झूठे और निराधार हैं। मैने उनके यहां, इतने दिन काम कर यह पाया है कि, राजा भइया कट्टर देश भक्त और, संविधान व कानून के मानने वाले व्यक्ति हैं।

मैने उन्हे आज तक किसी आपराधिक कृत्य मे लीन नही देखा फ़िर भी जब बसपा सरकार बनती है, तब उनके ऊपर फ़र्ज़ी आरोपों का ढेर लग जाता है। जिसमे उनके साथ उनके समर्थक , कार्यकर्ता और नौकर सभी पिसते हैं।

राजा भइया अपने क्षेत्र मे अत्यन्त ही लोकप्रिय जन सेवक हैँ इसी लिये इस बार के चुनाव मे भी उन्हे उत्तर प्रदेश मे सर्वाधिक मत देकर उनकी लोकप्रियता को सिद्ध किया है

फिर भी सरकार उन्हे, माफिया गुंडा और न जाने क्या क्या कहती है, जो भी हो ये राजा भैया और सरकार के बीच की बात है तो हम कार्यकर्ता गण और नौकर क्यो प्रताडित किये जाते हैँ। इस बार भी बसपा सरकार बनने के बाद, सरकार का दमन चक्र चालू है, और हम सभी, ह्त्या, अपहरण, जान से मारने की धमकी, मारपीट, और डकैती चोरी आदि के विभिन्न फर्ज़ी आरोपोँ से अलंकृत किये जा रहे हैँ, और पुलिस द्वारा लगतार प्रताडित किये जा रहे हैँ।

पुलिस दबिश डालकर राजा भइया के कार्यकर्ताओं और समर्थकों को पकड़कर विभिन्न आरोप लगाकर जेल भेज रही हैं जिससे आम लोग भी त्रस्त है‍।

Overall, it seems to him that the song takes a somewhat 

dim view of the lofty and grandiose nationalism of Iqbal 

by presenting some home-truths about real present day life.
